Nottingham maternity photographer {Chloe}

I’ve known Chloe for a while now, through a friend of a friend actually. Chloe responded to my shout-out on Facebook looking for pregnant mum’s-to-be to model for me.  I’ve been wanting to start offering maternity photography for ages so was looking for women to work with and along came Chloe…..

I haven’t seen Chloe for ages, in fact, I didn’t actually know she was pregnant! so it was really nice to hang out and shoot the breeze for a while.  I must say, Chloe was a good sport and was more than willing to do pretty much anything; climb any mountain (that’s an exaggeration), yomp through any heavily wooded area (that’s not).  We talked about being women, being a mother-to-be and a stepmother…we talked about how we arrived at where we were at and it was a really nice backdrop to a beautiful day with some seriously lovely light.

We frequented some city spots that I knew then headed out to Clumber Park for the last of the light and golden hour.

I learned lots of stuff from our session together,  stuff about posing and location (making sure the location has a mobile signal….just in case).  I also learned that my legendary ‘sparrow bladder’ is worse even than that of a heavily pregnant woman.  TMI?

So here she is in all her glory the rather beautiful, intelligent and thoroughly lovely Chloe. I wish you both all of the love and happiness in the world. I would say good luck but I reckon you won’t need it.

Wow. What a beautiful shoot. Looks like you had a fun, chilling out & happened to take some brilliant shots- just what a photoshoot should feel like. You also seem to have captured chloe at her most serine.

These are super lovely Charlotte! Thankyou for such a great day. Camera was unintrusive and photos are icing on the cake of a fab day out. Lovely to have an excuse to get out in the fresh air! I feel privileged to have such a special memento of this magical time.

These are so gorgeous, lovely to capture this exciting time & amazing light!

Aww what lovely pics that beautifully capture Chloe and the light in the earliest signs of spring. My favourite image is Chloe in front of the wall covered in (virginia creeper?) a plant with new shoots coming through…

Beautiful shoot. Captures Chloe’s natural earthy natural beauty.

Absolutely gorgeous shots. Love the backdrops you’ve chosen. :)
