I’ve known Chloe for a while now, through a friend of a friend actually. Chloe responded to my shout-out on Facebook looking for pregnant mum’s-to-be to model for me. I’ve been wanting to start offering maternity photography for ages so was looking for women to work with and along came Chloe…..
I haven’t seen Chloe for ages, in fact, I didn’t actually know she was pregnant! so it was really nice to hang out and shoot the breeze for a while. I must say, Chloe was a good sport and was more than willing to do pretty much anything; climb any mountain (that’s an exaggeration), yomp through any heavily wooded area (that’s not). We talked about being women, being a mother-to-be and a stepmother…we talked about how we arrived at where we were at and it was a really nice backdrop to a beautiful day with some seriously lovely light.
We frequented some city spots that I knew then headed out to Clumber Park for the last of the light and golden hour.
I learned lots of stuff from our session together, stuff about posing and location (making sure the location has a mobile signal….just in case). I also learned that my legendary ‘sparrow bladder’ is worse even than that of a heavily pregnant woman. TMI?
So here she is in all her glory the rather beautiful, intelligent and thoroughly lovely Chloe. I wish you both all of the love and happiness in the world. I would say good luck but I reckon you won’t need it.
Stunningly beautiful and natural pictures of a gloriously pregnant mama Chloe to be!! I love the feeling of utter contentment and serenity set amongst the safety of home and the synchronicity of nature….love them!!
